Portrait of Dan Schwartz

Who, me?

I am seasoned growth-oriented marketer steadfastly committed to the kind of simplicity that better connects buyers with brands. My focus on branding, demand generation and automation strategy has accelerated growth at every stop and has driven more than double digit growth every year since 2017. Most recently, I headed demand gen at Sourgum, an up and coming waste management marketplace, and was VP of marketing at the legacy localization provider, Acclaro. I've overseen teams small and large and have made do with budgets of all sizes. I've led multiple rebrands, rebuilt marketing tech stacks and managed P&Ls. That said, I am acutely aware that every organization has it's own unique challenges and advantages that require custom fit solutions. My approach is to simplify as much as possible so process no longer stands in the way and messaging actually resonates with the end user. I'm native New Yorker (*upstate) who went to Boston for college, earned his degree from Northeastern University, before moving to New York City. I spent the Pandemic era in Los Angeles and recently settled back in North Jersey with my wife, 2 year-old son and mini bernedoodle. Before we had our son, I used to enjoy seeing live comedy, going to the movies and taking my dog on hikes.
